After getting married, our biggest adventure was building our first house. It took awhile, but we'd finally found an area we loved and it was time to settle down. We'd been apartment dwellers for far too long, so we decided that it was time to find a home of our own. Although it felt like we looked at a hundred homes, it really only took us about two months to find the right one. It was the first place that we both liked. When we found out that the finished home that we had liked so much was also available as custom-built home, we decided to have one built for us. Check out the photos of the process: |
This is what it looked like in April when we decided to buy it. It took a lot of imagination to see it finished. |

Gelina and her friend Carolyn turned our master bath into a Roman spa. |
Quincy thought that this pillar in the bathroom was there just for him.We didn't have the heart to tell him that we were planning on putting a big fern there. |
